It takes me forever to find Smegma’s house, which is odd, because the entire thing is painted shocking pink. The pink of cotton candy and little girls’ barettes, so pink you couldn’t miss it. So pink that, when I find another pinkish house and knock on the door, they guy can tell me right where it is, four blocks away. “This house is purple!” says the guy, like I just tried to kiss him on the mouth.
I am greeted at the door by Rock and Roll Jackie herself, who takes on the nomme d’etage “Oblivia “, in keeping with one of the few traditions the band takes seriously. Though we’re far from strangers – I suppose I’ve been interacting with Jackie for close to ten years now – an air of formality pervades the exchange, like I’m entering the hall of a master monk or a great scholar. She shows me where to put my coat, offers me a drink, then points me upstairs to meet the man in question: Ju Suk Reet Meate, the central figure in the 35 year history of the band called Smegma.
I think how fortunate it is that I’m not a vintage record collector, because if I were this interview would be long-delayed as I rifled through his Smithsonianesque accumulation of gorgeous old LPs, 45s, and whatever you call those weird thick old records that come in the boxes. 78s? I never could keep all of that straight. A lot of it looks like Novelty records, the crazy traveling variety musicians whose unique and prodigious talents were eventually encapsulated in the old Spike Jones shows before shuffling off to Dr

My 350Z Convertible Top

I have a 2007 350Z Roadster. The bar that goes across the middle of the underside of the top has a small plate on each side with two screws in each plate; one is just about directly over the drivers head, and the other would be above a passenger’s head. They are small, and the screw heads are each about the size of a pea. Well, when the top closes, these screws rub on the inside of the top, and have slowly worn a hole into the top, on both sides. I took my car to the dealership, and they say it looks like that it is the problem, but, you need to call headquarters to get it approved because the cost is over our limit to approve it ourselves. I call HQ, tell them the deal, then they call me back and tell me “The cause is from outside factors. We cannot replace the top.” If it is happening on both sides, in the identical place, seems like it’s the screws.
Answer to Problem:
I live in Beaumont, TX and I had the same problem with the holes wearing in the top. I could not get anywhere with Nissan either. I took my car to Master Craftsman Trim Shop in Beaumont, TX. These guys where very professional and informative. They told me that they have changed out 6 (six) 350Z convertible tops in the past month. They do dealerships, insurance claims and personal convertible tops. These guys answered my questions, explained everything thoroughly, and did all my leg work for me. They even brought me back to my house while they were working on my 350Z convertible top. My advice is to document the heck out of this. If you’re close to your 3/36, then they are trying to delay long enough for you to get out of it. How many miles on the car? Still under the 3yr / 36K mile bumper to bumper? If so, then they don’t need any further “approval”. It should be covered. Period. The wear is from the inside –> out. You could care less about the dealership’s approval levels. The car is covered. If they need further approval, then the bloody dealer should know “who needs to be called.” What a bunch of lazy asses.

Also, Master Craftsman Trim Shop told me, if you are having problems with the top closing; especially in cold weather, spray the mechanism with WD40 and that might work. If it works then get silicone spray lube and I don’t think you will have any more problems

PROVO –? There’s a chance the BYU Cougars could be without the services of energizer guard Jackson Emery for Wednesday’s basketball game in Logan against Utah State.
Emery, a 6-foot-3 junior from Lone Peak High, left Monday’s practice early after injuring his right foot. Team trainers planned to ice the foot, and then take X-rays to determine the extent of the injury. Emery was bumped during practice and landed off balance, then felt a sudden strange pain on the top of his right foot. He tried to continue but couldn’t ignore the pain and discomfort. He walked for a while on the side of the court and tried to put pressure on the foot before finally leaving with trainers.

NEW YORK — Fitch Ratings affirms the ratings on the senior student loan notes and
downgrades the subordinate bonds of the KnowledgeFunding of Ohio 2005
Indenture of Trust; removing any ratings from Negative Watch and
assigning Stable Outlooks to all ratings. The senior parity has been
increasing, helped by redemption of the senior notes. However, the
trust’s excess spread level has not been meeting expectations, and the
parities for the subordinate bonds remain well below 100%. A complete
list of rating actions is at the end of this press release.
The subordinate bonds were placed on Rating Watch Negative on Oct. 31,
2008 as a result of disruptions in the auction-rate market. A detailed
review of the transactions, applying Fitch’s Global Structured Finance
Rating Criteria, revealed that the trust has not been producing
sufficient excess spread due to increased costs associated with the
auction-rate securities. The downgrades are the result of increased
uncertainty of parity build-up that will allow the full redemption of
the subordinate bonds. The parities for the trust, as of September 2009,
were 94.80% and 106.88% for the subordinate and senior bonds,
respectively. Stable Outlooks are assigned because the ratings are
expected to remain stable for the next two years.
The collateral supporting KnowledgeFunding of Ohio 2005 Indenture of
Trust consists entirely of federally guaranteed student loans originated
under the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP). FFELP loans are
guaranteed at least 97% of principal and accrued interest, depending on
the loan origination date.
Fitch affirms and assigns Outlooks to the following senior classes of
KnowledgeFunding of Ohio 2005 Indenture of Trust bond:
–2005 class A-1 notes at ‘AAA/LS1′; Outlook Stable;
–2005 class A-2 notes at ‘AAA/LS1′; Outlook Stable;
